2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Small white head thats gone in a flash, a touch of lace left behind. Clear gold color. Tinny, buttery nose. Light/medium body, light creaminess. The buttery aromas comes through on the palate, fairly dominant. Mild maltiness with little to no hop flavor. Finish is lightly sweet. Blech!

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Golden color with medium white head. Aroma matchs the roasted malt style. Medium flavor of malt with a medium body with short finish. Not nearly as strong as resident state leader Eliot Ness.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This brew is courtesy of my Bro, FootBalm.Nice amber/orange color, small white head that faded slowly and left a little lace in the center.Malty sweetish aroma with a light hop presence and a hint of caramel.Kind of flat on the flavor Malty taste with a slight caramel in there and the hops come through decent enough towards the middle and end with just a slight bitterness. As the brew warms up it gets a little better but not much, with just a little more caramel and hops showing through. Not the greatest brew but definately worth trying again.I think this is a brew that might grow on you after a few.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear gold with a tiny head and zero lacing. Aroma did not contribute to the overall enjoyment; malts, maybe. Smooth, sweet flavor that worked well in washing down some pizza, but not something I would break out to impress friends or family. Cute pooch on the label, though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 8, 2008 This was real good, very different flavor than a lot of other ones, you can really taste the sweets in it, but was a little too thin , one to get once in a while by itself.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Crystal clear, golden lager with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention and good, cumulus lacing. The nose is sweet and malty with notes of toffee and caramel. The flavor is sweet caramel, toffee and corn. Medium-bodied and creamy with mild carbonation. Lengthy, sweet finish. Overall, itís cloyingly sweet. Not really my thing.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Heroic golden lager, as per the description on the bottle. Definitely golden as opposed to yellow in color, actually almost orange. Itís certainly not heroic in terms of hopping with only nine IBU, less than Budweiser. Perhaps it is the strong malt profile that is heroic. Lightly sweet, almost edging toward (but not quite) cloying. Notes of honey and caramel with a nice toasty edge. Lack of carbonation along with the slight excess in sweetness leave the palate a little dead and sticky. Iím always happy to see quality micros attempting lager styles but that just makes me all the more dissapointed when they turn out lackluster.
