2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Hazy Apple Juice colored liquid. Little head. Nose of sweet hops. Flavot is a sweet and mediumly malty. NO tang. Flavor is mellow and smooth. Body is unimpressive. Finishes cleanly.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
reversing the trend of thirsty dog's "bad label/good beer" policy, this one features a charming centerpiece on it's label: the photogenic husky "balto", wonder dog-- (tho why balto is letting that creepy ogre near him is not known). the appearance is as golden amber as a fresh krispie cream donut, the head popped like a built in flash bulb, and then left me alone with this artificially festive flat liquid. the aroma is very mild honey on toasted bagel, and a brisk carbonation carrys the whole flavor package to mid tongue and dumps it-- like the sudden ripping of a grocery bag, spilling an
illicit shopping list of sticky caramel buns, lipton double-sweet lemon tea, and watery cream soda. i don't like to think i'm a man who is easily cloyed, but this soft drink cloyed me with a vengance: the vague finishing bitterness only served to mimic aspartame. yuck. run balto, run!

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
This brew poured a small head of bubbles that left behind a fiar lacing and transparent brown colored uncarbonated body. Its mouthfeel was hoppy and acidic and it had a very mild undiscernable aroma. The flavor was mild malted slightly hoppy and dialectyl.

Bottle pours a sllightly hazy light yellow amber with a medium off white head. Aroma is a typical light laget with some sweet corn and other light grains. Flavor is similar but a bit sharp and bitter. LIngering sweet honey and slightly bitter grain bitterness.
Thanks Buckeyeboy again for this one.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
This beer has a clear amber color and a mild hoppy and carmel malt aroma.
But there is some thick laceing along the sides of the glass. It has a nice initial bitterness and some sweet malt. But there is no palate duration at all. It fades rather quickly.

Not as good as I expected. Too sweet (in a stale-sitting-around-too-long sort of way). Not my cup of tea, but I have 2 of their other brews sitting in the fridge and I’m hoping that they’re a bit better.

Bottle. Ugh! This was terrible. Not well balanced with a terrible granny smith apple taste to it.

paid $7.99 for a 6-pack
I bought a 6 pack of this because I'd never seen it before (and it's local... gotta support local breweries!). Very average smell and appearance. At first, I liked the taste quite a bit, but kept wondering what it reminded me of. After my second or third, it came to me: it tastes like baked beans. I've got one left in my refrigerator, free for the taking. This beer gets old awfully quick.
