On tap at Capone’s. Poured a brownish color with an off white head. Woody, earth, some frutiness and some breadiness. Overall the barrel aging on the subtle side with just a trace of bourbon.

Draft at Khyber Pass in Philly. Snifter. Very dark ruby pour with a slight white head. Bit of runny lace. Nice bourbon notes over some dark red fruit flavors. Bing cherries. Plums. Caramel apples. Challah bread. Dried stawberries. Pecans. Burnt cherry cordials. Dark and juicy. I could easily drink this again.

Tap at the bust bee. Nutty, bourbon and bready malts. Not really an overwhelming barrel character but its still there

On tap at Community Tap, Greenville, SC. Nice dark brown pour, glints of amber and chestnut and a decent filmy head on top. Nose was pretty inviting, with the sweet nutty style of a dubbel complemented fairly well by the bourbon and vanilla notes from the oak used. Sweet but not overly syrupy, with an enjoyable base beer moderately enhanced in a way that actually evokes the breadiness and fruitiness a bit more than expected, rather than burying it with boozy one-dimensionality.
