This poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma contains some spices and lemons. Maybe a hint of vanilla. The flavor is pretty much the same with a sweet finish. Pretty standard issue Tripel really but ok.

Shared by Turd. Pours a translucent bright yellow with a one finger white head. Nose is spicy alcohol, phenolic, musty, earthy, some carbdoard, badly presented Belgian yeast. Flavor is earthy, shows some DMS/veggies, musty, yeasty, warm alcohol, papery. Palate is warm and round.

There’s really nothing about this beer that I found worth wanting another. I suppose the appearance is the highlight, with a nice lightly coppered orange color. However, flavors are thin and occasionally unpleasant. Not likely to find a place in my rotation.

Golden pour with minimal white head. Aroma of floral hops, soap, grass, and light malt. Flavor of sugar, clove, spice. Overly sweet.

From bottle and sampled from brewery. Pours a golden color with a thin head. Aroma was kinda that of bread/yeast. Taste had a pleasant sweetness to it. Palate with full bodied, almost syrup like. Overall this is well balanced and very enjoyable.

Sampled at tasting at stevo’s. Pours yellow with white head. The aroma is banana, bread, cookies, vanilla, and mild spiciness. The falvor is lemon, banana, clove, a little bit of pepper, and some light sweetness. Textbook, but good.

Cloudy gold, thin ring of foam. The words "yeasty" and " boozy" figure prominently in my review. Also some white wine notes, as well. Not bad, but not really to my taste.

decaturstevo’s stevofest part 2. Sample from a bottle thanks to decaturstevo. Clear yellow, thin white ring. Aroma is spicy, alcohol. Taste is must the same, musty, spicy, alcohol. Pretty boring.

12oz bottle from Sam’s, Durham. Clear and quite clean-looking pour, which - as several raters have noted already - resembles apple juice with a bit more carbonation (but not cider dank). Nose is heavily malty to me, with ripe fruits and just a faint spiciness, far less than I want from a tripel. Mouthfeel is quite nice, with a slightly oily feel at first, then pleasant carbonation leading to a semi-dry finish. But this just tastes more like a strong biere de garde to me, and not an especially good one at that.
