3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
P: A cloudy speckled bright apricot color with little to no head development. Only a few big bubbles around the edge.
S: Pumpernickel bread, tropical fruits, clove, cardamom, coriander, toasted caramel, sugar malt, banana taffy, yikes stripes fruit striped gum, sweet booze and cinnamon.
T/M: A malted bomb exploded in my mouth. Sweet with floral perfume presence. Sweet candied sugar, toasted caramel, loads of tropical fruit followed up with a white wine similarity. Once swallowed the sweet malt is overtaken by the spices and lingering of rum. Chewy body with moderate carbonation. Finishes dry and chalky.
O: This is truly a three headed monster. Sweet succulent malts, fruits, spices, yeasty bread and booze. What more could you ask for in a tripel. This really surprised me. I figured it would be decent but this surpassed my expectations and in glad I grabbed this up. This is a definite need to try.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Big Top Beverage Mart, Rosyln variety case: Cloudy golden orange with a little head. Aroma is a bit malty, somewhat fruity. Taste is really sharp and a little bit too boozy. Aftertaste is a little too hard as well. I really don’t like this. I had some yesterday and some more today, and it did not get any better.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle. Golden with lots of sediment and small head. Not sure why there’s this much sediment in a tripel. This is pretty boozy, but flavor gets better as it warms up.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky amber-tan color with a small foamy white head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet with notes of fresh cut peaches and pears. The flavor was sweet and tangy table sugar followed by an almost overwhelming boozy presence that then led to notes of peach, pear, honey and bread. Long boozy finish with lingering peach and pear notes. Full bodied. Other than the massive booziness a really enjoyable brew.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle from Total Wine, Greenville, SC. Pours a darker than anticipated orange with a frothy off-white head. Aroma of light candi sugar and citrus. The taste is more malt forward than most tripel’s giving the beer a sweeter taste than expected. The lingering sweetness on the palate is not too cloying and is cut by the alcohol. This is more of a Belgian Strong Ale than a tripel in my opinion but it is a good beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured into a wine glass. Copper color, hazy due to live yeast. 1 finger of head that did not last long. Aroma was very strong banana, reminded me of a California Chardonnay. Taste was sweeter than other triples I’ve had, with a slightly boozy finish. Pretty good beer.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 ounce bottle. Pours a translucent copper color with a thin white head of foam. The aroma is very light. Vanilla, wood, grainy. The aroma is almost too light to detect. Taste is an estery sweet, malt forward. Drying on the palate. Alcohol is covered for the most part, but there is a twinge of heat in the finish.
