American IPA bursting with citrus aromas and flavors. Youíll find evidence of tangerine, grapefruit, orange and mango in the aroma from the multiple additions of a single hop variety, Citra. There is also a nice malt balance in this bitter, full bodied, doglicious IPA that is a citrus lovers delight.

Bottle thanks to mikem409. Found this one in the back of some other bees hiding. Shoulda drank it sooner. Nose is immediate fruitiness with a touch of dank. Taste is immediately bitter with some tropical fruit hop flavor but its kinda flat. Likely from age. Drying finish with no notes of alcohol. Good beer ---Rated via intercellular device

Pours a hazy pure gold with at thick, foamy eggshell head that sticks around for quite a while and leaves some thick lace. Nose involves dirty citrus rind, earthy, herbal, and floral hop notes, some spiciness, straw and toasted malt. Somewhat sweet, quite bitter, though it didnít feel like 95 IBUs. Active carb, light to medium bodied, a bit grainy, with a lengthy citric bitter finish. Pretty tasty and refreshing.

95 IBUs may be too much for Citra hops. Aftertaste was nothing but hop bitterness. Clear straw color with average head and body

12oz bottle shared. Light golden orange color with minimal head. Nice earthy citrus aroma almost like straw and fruit. Full flavored full malt backbone. Full hop flavor, big citrus fruit flavor of tangerine and orange. Solid citra hopped beer.

Bottle. So Iím not entirely sure this was fresh, because it smelled and tasted a little like an old IPA, but I canít imagine it would be old based on where I bought it. I will try to get another bottle and revisit this, but man... disappointing. Aromas are a grainy mess with a little bit of orange and maybe resin. Color is kind of a slightly orangish gold with little head and the flavor is grain heavy with a nice bitterness, but a dull hops presence. Some passion fruit and mango come through, but it is dull...
