American IPA bursting with citrus aromas and flavors. Youíll find evidence of tangerine, grapefruit, orange and mango in the aroma from the multiple additions of a single hop variety, Citra. There is also a nice malt balance in this bitter, full bodied, doglicious IPA that is a citrus lovers delight.

Bottle at craft ale house. Pours clear brownish amber with a small off white head. The aroma has all the aromatics of Citra.. Floral, grass, pine, light citrus. The taste has a dry bitterness, good grapefruit and pineapple balance. I like this a lot.

Bright orange color with small white head with little lacing. Aroma is pretty weak- just a bit fruity. Flavor has a strong dry bitterness with light citrus notes, and a light malty finish. Average overall- wish this 6pk was $8.99 instead of $10.99 though.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2013 Bottle. Pours a clear yellow-orange color with a small foamy head that lingers nicely and leaves some lacing. Aroma is nice and musty but kinda faint. Dank orange and grapefruit hops with a hint of pot and caramel. Taste is solid. Very mild sweetness with a moderate bitterness. Has a very pot-like taste with dank citrus hops too. Maybe a little pine. Dry bitter finish. Overall, a decent IPA but with being so dry and almost no sweetness, itís hard to finish more than one. Re-rate 7/13/13 - Had more of these and I like it better now. Pot taste has gone away and a little sweetness is emerging now. Drinking much better now. Love Citra hops!

Bottle - Pours hazy orange with white head, good retention. Some citrus notes in the nose but kind of weak. Tastes of grapefruit and oranges. Its too sweet and somewhat has an unbalanced bitterness to it.

On tap. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Aroma of stinky, pot hops, grassy hops. Flavor is super hoppy- hop oils, pot, grapefruit, sweaty hops, caramel malt. Excellent hoppy IPA, dry and oily, super fresh. Great stuff. 8/4/8/4/15 (3.9/5)

Pours a golden orangish color with a nice white fluffy head. Good amount of lacing left on the glass. Aroma is a nice mellow citrus hop and slightly bready. Taste is a little off, with bitterness really coming through and a little over the top. Descent beer, but at 10.99 a six pack, I think there are better options available.

12 oz bottle. Clear brass with a meringue cap. Nose is lemon, musk, clover honey and grass. Medium body with foamy carb; crisp then oily. Taste is lemon, toffee, spruce and basil. Lingering spice and white pepper. Quite good when you need a citra fix.

Big punch of Citra hops to start this beer off, pours a light amber, with a thin, quickly fading white head. Big hop presence, with a good malt backbone to hold up to it. Long lingering bitter finish. This is a nice solid IPA.

The aroma jumps right out on you on draft. Very good offering from Thirsty Dog. Lots of resin. Have had it on draft three times and its been a bit inconsistent, but when itís on, itís on!
