4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Tasted this at the 2012 Brew Week in Athens, Ohio. Pours a light copper or even brown with a a thin white head. A nice blend of hops and and caramel malts. Medium bitter and sweetness. Light to medium body with a pleasant refreshing texture. This is best amber ale I’ve had so far.

Bottle, as pictured. Easy drinker, some hops but nothing overwhelming. Nothing too crazy about it.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear amber pour with small white foam head. Orange zest and floral hops on the nose. Caramel malts smooth out the earthy citrus hops, giving this a fresh hop taste with a mild sweet bitterness. Decent brew.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2013 rerate on 9/3/13 - pours with huge head that almost spilled over - nothing new. Citrus nose. Flavor adds hay and herbs. Very sweet for the style. Tangy.
12oz bottle - poured out of the bottle and on top of my desk including a fifth of my mouse pad. What made it into the glass was a grapefruit orange with white head. Nose is caramel and tangy. Flavor adds grapefruit and herbal hops. Taste is bittersweet. Not what I expect from an amber ale. Plenty of flavor and character. 8/3/7/4/13 or 3.5 on 4/28/2012

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle. Minimal off-white head. Clear orange color, with bubbles on the glass. A few dots of lace. Nice, crisp, lighter carbonation. Good dry texture. Satisfyingly hoppy for an amber. Nice bitter taste, great malt balance. An impressive, drinkable amber.
