Commercial Description:
Our hoppiest beer! The complex character of American hops and amber colored caramel malts make this beer very crisp and refreshing. Silver Medal winner at the G.A.B.F. 2001.

Poured little to no head, whiteish foam. Light amber/orange color. A citrusy, fruity smell. Also like an oragne or tangurine. Bitter smell. Citrusy, fruity piny, floral bitter taste. Great drinkability. Smooth, light bitter aftertaste.

A nose of maltiness and hops. A hazed amber/orange pour wth gooey white lace. Malty flavor with hard hints of citrus kinda like an orange. Nice medium bodied beer that again is a bit of a surprise. Nice drinker smooth clean very good beer.

Let down beer. Not very hoppus and not very maximus. Standard pale ale/amber-ish taste. Nothing out of the ordinary. Wouldn’t try again.

pours a hazy real homemade iced tea color with a thin egg shell head which fades to a film and appropriately leaves behind columns of lacing. the aroma is a bit tannic and floral like tea as well...caramel malt, orange/citrus and some wood. the flavor is similar though not nearly as robust. dry finish with lots of grass and resiny hops. medium body. carbonation gets really soft when squeezed. i’d bet this is really good fresh from the taps!...

ABV: 5 % RateBeer rating: 76 Calories: estimated at 150 C Volume: 12 fl oz. Glass: pint, shaker Purchased at: Issac Newton’s, Newtown, PA Price: $4.50 Consumed at: home First Impression: An average IPA alike. Chemical flavors hurt the taste. Aroma is a spicy citrus. Visuals are a beautiful amber body below a bright white head with persistent lacing. Taste is hoppy, chemical, and a bit soapy. Palate is crisp, drying, and acetic with a long bitter finish. Second Impression - not a bad beer, except that it tastes unnatural - many better beers exist for this purpose (hop delivery). Aroma: 7 out of 10 Visuals: 5 out of 5 Taste: 6 out of 10 Palate: 4 out of 5 Overall: 14 out of 20
