3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Half Time. Pours ruddy copper with a slight beige head. Aroma of mildly roasted malt. Med body. Flavor is malt, with a slight UK tang, and no particular hop - maybe herb? Maybe. Finishes very far from bitter, but reasonably tasty.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a reddish copper with a medium white head. It has a sweet sugar aroma with a hints of roast hops. It has a medium sweetness with a hint of bitter. The body is medium with a thin texture. Iím not a fan of Irish ales but this is a very drinkable beer at 5.9% ABV, and I love that itís easy to find in Ohio.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a murky amber with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma has interesting vanillaand toffee notes. Kinda reminds me of whisky. The taste is sweet for sure. Pretty enjoyable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle. (Jungle Jimís) Fairfield, OH.
My girlfriend chose this one for me.
Clear amber colour with a small white head.
Sweet malt, hops, candies and some darkness in the aroma.
Dark malt in the flavour. Not very interesting.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Malty, earthy, with a bit of pine and hops. The finish, however, thins out a bit. Not bad, but missing something.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, this ale had a clear dark red pour with faint bronze-brown hue at the sides of the glass (there was some particles in the pour) and made a one finger faint off-white head that recedes to thin cover with small open spaces and a ring, the glass had a medium flowing center stream, it left some nice spots of lacing on the sides of the glass, there was no sediment in the bottle.
There were aromas of toasted malt, some caramel like notes, malt and bread sweetness.
This drink had flavors of toasted malt, caramel and faint bread, the finish had a light bitterness with malt flavor trailing afterwards.
the mouth feel was light with average carbonation, it was a nice drink.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft at Flipdaddyís in Mariemont, served in a pint glass. Pours a clear but dark-ish orange-red color with a small white head. Not a whole lot of aroma or flavor, but smooth and easy to sip. Notes of toasted and amber malts, faint fruit, a little earth. Everything is subtle here. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a smooth, thin mouthfeel. Works for what it is.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle, from my local Kroger. Clear dark red / brown color. Thin off-white head. Little loose lace. Medium body. Smooth, light carbonation. Very easy to drink.. Flavor is basic and subtle, but nice. Chocolate malt, earthy hop, little spiciness, very light fruity. Some sweet taste. Very light bite. Good to enjoy with a sandwich. Good, straight-forward Irish ale.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
1st impression from 12oz bottle was not good--for the damn thing produced a huge, foamy head--but things calmed down. Some decent, sweet malts are showcased, not sure if I like the hop selection. Tad thin. This is not a total disaster, but no re-purchase.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Aroma of mostly nutty, toasty malts, maybe a bit of resin. Appearance is murky brown with bone head. Flavor matches the aroma somewhat, but is rather thin and watery. Palate is light, sticky and average. Needs some tweaks to get into average territory.
