3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a bottle. Pours ruby red with a white head. Good lacing. Aroma is rich caramel malt and popcorn. Flavors are buttery caramel with nutty notes. Mild hop bite with a hint of dark chocolate in the finish. Medium mouthfeel with fairly high carbonation. This ale is not terribly complex. The flavors are very straightforward--malty and nutty. Itís not bad at all. In fact, I rather like this ale. But it falls short of being truly great.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Reviewed from old notes, March of 2012. Sorry for the late upload.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a fine ruddy red color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about less than a minute. Light lacing roamed around the glass.
The smell started off with a dry roasty caramel note and then allowed a decent sweet nuttiness to roll underneath my nose.
The taste was basically the same.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was definitely there with a basking sharpness but nothing overbearing. There was a light dry caramel aftertaste and finish.
Overall, I say this was a decent Irish Red ale I could do again, but Iíd have to trade for it or get my butt to Ohio to get it, until then...

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz bottle from Jungle Jims 2012 notes. Pours a dark orange amber color with a smaller white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted bready malts, light caramel, mild fruit, light earthy bitterness. Nothing bad, but nothing big that stands out either.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Amber pour with a nice red hue. Very nice head and lasting lacing. Nose is of toast, nut and caramel sweet malt. Light bodied with medium carbonation. The flavor profile is a laid back blend of malt flavors that ends up being nicely complex and balanced. Like the nose, toast, nut and caramel float over a slight sweetness. The finish is smooth and at the end, Goldings are detected. A solid red ale.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a reddish copper with a medium white head. It has a sweet sugar aroma with a hints of roast hops. It has a medium sweetness with a hint of bitter. The body is medium with a thin texture. Iím not a fan of Irish ales but this is a very drinkable beer at 5.9% ABV, and I love that itís easy to find in Ohio.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle poured into a brandy snifter. Pours a murky amber with a white head of foam that dissipates quickly. The aroma has interesting vanillaand toffee notes. Kinda reminds me of whisky. The taste is sweet for sure. Pretty enjoyable.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle. (Jungle Jimís) Fairfield, OH.
My girlfriend chose this one for me.
Clear amber colour with a small white head.
Sweet malt, hops, candies and some darkness in the aroma.
Dark malt in the flavour. Not very interesting.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Malty, earthy, with a bit of pine and hops. The finish, however, thins out a bit. Not bad, but missing something.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, this ale had a clear dark red pour with faint bronze-brown hue at the sides of the glass (there was some particles in the pour) and made a one finger faint off-white head that recedes to thin cover with small open spaces and a ring, the glass had a medium flowing center stream, it left some nice spots of lacing on the sides of the glass, there was no sediment in the bottle.
There were aromas of toasted malt, some caramel like notes, malt and bread sweetness.
This drink had flavors of toasted malt, caramel and faint bread, the finish had a light bitterness with malt flavor trailing afterwards.
the mouth feel was light with average carbonation, it was a nice drink.
