COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust porter, dark brown in color and full-bodied with a malty sweet taste. Deep roasted, yet silky-smooth! Two types of roasted malts, including deep-roasted chocolate malt are used to give this porter a rich, chocolately taste.

Nice, developed porter here. Good roast malt with some smoke and a little robust pungence. Dark chocolate as well. Pours black with decent initial head and lacing. Good thick consistency. Average carbonation. Finishes with light bitterness. Bottle.

12 oz bottle. Big body and flavor here makes me wonder why all porters can’t have at least a little more character. Nice roasty malt flavors with a touch of chocolate. Some milk chocolate creaminess and a light bittersweet finish.

Long Island, NY - 12 oz. beer pours a dark cola color with a thin layer of brownish head. Aroma was malt heavyz I don't dwell much in porters but taste was of slight hops with a hint of sweetness. Heavy malt backbone with a smooth mouth feel. Not a bad brew ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2014 Undated 12 oz bottle served in a snifter at about 50-55F. This porter pours nearly black but clear with a dark tan head that has limited retention but leaves decent lacing. The aroma has an attractive mix of sweet malts with more dark fruit than dark roasted grains. Flavor: a mix of sweet malts and dark roasted grains. Hints of toffee and dark fruits, Lightly sweet. Hint of coffee and dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Feel: Soft, low carbonation. Full bodied. Creamy smooth.

Odd, this was more like a Scottish ale or even a Belgian to me. Was way too sweet with rock candy and dark fruits. Very little of the porter profile. Ease up on the sugar, fellas. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark chocolate aroma and flavors. Lingering chocolate bitterness. Cocoa predominant flavor. Burnt undertones.

The bottle popped on me and all I got was head for the first few pours. The aroma is sweet and smoky. The flavor is difficult to nail down because it fizzes up like Coca Cola as soon as I take a sip.

A deep dark brown porter with a super thick frothy brown head. In aroma, a nice mix of Brett and bitter chocolate, alcohol burn, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet peaty chocolate with dark fruits, a bit lighter than expected, but still nice. Shared with GRM.

Big Top Beverage Mart, Rosyln variety case: Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is a whole lot of dark chocolate, some coffee, and roasted malt. Taste is really chocolatey and slightly sweet. Some aftertaste. Sessionable and well-balanced.
