A robust porter, dark brown in color and full-bodied with a malty sweet taste. Deep roasted, yet silky-smooth! Two types of roasted malts, including deep-roasted chocolate malt are used to give this porter a rich, chocolately taste.

Beer poured nicely with not a lot of head. Aroma had coffee notes with it. Overall it was a good beer.

From a bottle into an English pint, small creamy light brown head, nose of roast and molasses.Medium body, average carbonation. Some what thin and lack luster for a Robust Porter, but could serve as a moderate session beer.

Bottle, pours a dark black color with a nice java head. Nose is malt, licorice and deep roasted coffee, perhaps espresso . Taste is malty, light despite the ABV, and without ant real sweetness. Finish is malty with a dark cup of coffee ending, Fair. Quaff Score 6 / 10

Pours a dark brown with a tan head and aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Taste is sweet, of roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee while burnt and roasty with a dry, smooth finish. Nice porter

355 mL bottle. Dark brown with a huge brown head. Maybe too huge. Makes me wonder. Some roast in the mild aroma - doesn’t promise much. But the flavour is very good, and it doesn’t have the usual thin porter body. The flavour has roast, chocolate milk, and cherry. Nice one. Drink at cellar temp, not from the fridge.

Roast and coffee aromas predominate with subtle notes of dark fruit and chocolate. Black with a tan cap. Roast bitterness with just enough malty sweetness to balance. Medium full bodied with a bittersweet finish of roast malt.

12 oz bottle. The pour was a dark murky brown with some ruby highlights and an average (1-2 finger) light tan frothy head that receded down to a thick film and large collar with good runny lacing. The aroma was of roasted dark bread malts, a mild resin hop and an earthy yeast with notes of milk chocolate and roasted coffee. The taste was very malty and quite roasty with a bold chocolate presence early on, progressing with a slightly bitter and silky smooth coffee taste with a mildly harsh bite towards the finish. The flavor lasted an average duration following the swallow with a lightly bitter mocha coffee flavor left lying on the taste buds. Mouthfeel was just under medium in body with a dry, oily texture and almost flat carbonation, almost. Overall after sippin’ on this brew for a while, it comes off as a delightfully tasty and silky smooth brew with a really good drinkability... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

Roasty, toasty malt. Smooth and full with a hint of cocoa. A very good porter.

Poured from bottle. Part of a sampler. Dark brown/black with little head and bubbles. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, chocolate, malts, soy, alcohol. Good sweet/bitter mix with hints of salty. More carbonation than I expected based on pour and lack of head. Body is a bit thin for a porter but a nice offering. And I love the name!
