3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (12oz). Shared with blankboy and garthicus, my bottle via trade with Acknud. Near opaque deep ruby, with an average off-white head. Aroma of molasses, grassy hops; quite dry. The taste is thin but oily and mildly syrupy, sweet and minty, slightly bitter on the tongue in the finish. Slick mouthfeel, lightly astringent, not much carbonation, but really nice.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12-oz. Thanks, Dank! Pours nearly jet black with a dense, creamy, somewhat pocked tan head. Loose webby lacing coming down the glass. Dark coffee and earth nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Coffee, earth, and roast on the mid-palate, fading into a finish thatís a little like a 7-11 coffee thatís been sitting in the pot for a while. Thereís definitely bittersweet chocolate knocking around in there as well, but the coffee is the big surprise here for sure.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle: Dark brown, nearly black, thin to moderate light beige head, decent lacing.   Earthen roasted malt nose, slight cocoa and coffee, and even a bit of lactose.   Smooth malt character, fairly roasty, low hop profile, finishing with a light milk sugar like sweetness.   Not robust in the sense that its described on the label, but instead more of a malty example.   Moderate body, mouthfeel is a bit milky but tiz on the thin side.   Sweet roasted malt finish, cocoa, chocolate, very subtle hop presense.   Perty tasty.   Thanks Jeff!

Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a very dark brown with ruby hues and an average size diminishing light-brown head. Lovely roasty aroma along with chocolate, hops and a touch of alcohol. Flavourís a bit thin, but still enjoyable. Itís roasty along with some chocolate, cofee, hops, some mild sweetness and a dark roasty finish. Medium bodied. Very good Porter!

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep brown with amber highlights produces a creamy small head and good lace. The aroma is heavy molasses, ripe fruits (current and apple), roasted dark malts, aromatic hops, burnt wood, earthy yeast esters, and high acidic coffee. The taste starts very malty with a lactic sour undertone. A mild spice, wood, and fruity nature comes and goes throughout the tasting. Coffee, smoky and bitter notes upon the finish. The medium to full-bodied brew has a lush and creamy, soft mouthfeel. I found this to be a complex and everchanging porter, I like it a lot and would say it is very underrated. Enjoy some! Thanks JSquire for the bottle, now I must find more...argh. Love the name too, "So many legs, so little time!"

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from yem25. Dark brown pour with a thin bubbly head. Aroma is moderate and comprised of chocolate and light roast. Chocolate upfront with roast rounding it out. Some sweetness and some roast fight in the finish. Medium body with bitey carbonation. A little earthy and dry as well. Enjoyable porter.
