Commercial Description:
A robust porter, dark brown in color and full-bodied with a malty sweet taste. Deep roasted, yet silky-smooth! Two types of roasted malts, including deep-roasted chocolate malt are used to give this porter a rich, chocolately taste.

Super nutty aroma. Flavor is just a bit less nutty, with a nice cocoa and lightly caramel-like flavor. Pretty good brew.

This beer poured a very dark brown with a half-inch, light brown head. The head dissipated after about a minute and did not leave much on the sides of the glass. You can smell the chocolate malt and the sweetness of this beer. This sweet malty flavor lingers from the first sip to the aftertaste. (In a good way.) A bit sweet for my taste, but I would certainly order another.

good flavor, aroma, and aftertaste. If only it has a thicker mouthfeel and better head.

12 oz. bottle bought on a beer-run in Indianapolis. Very dark brown pour with a small mocha colored head. Very sweet aroma with some roasted malt character emerging as well. Flavor was sweet with plenty of roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Slightly thinner mouthfeel than expected. Still, a very nice beer!

Pours a clear(ish) brown with an average light tan head. Aroma is malt, chocolate with a certain sweetness about it. The flavor is much the same, with the addition of faint coffee, increased sweetness, and a floral woodiness. Finish was just a hair thinner than I might have liked, but the finish was cleaner than many similar porters.
