COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A robust porter, dark brown in color and full-bodied with a malty sweet taste. Deep roasted, yet silky-smooth! Two types of roasted malts, including deep-roasted chocolate malt are used to give this porter a rich, chocolately taste.

Nice full chocolate aroma, pours a nearly opaque black, with ruby highlights when held up to the light. There’s a good light tan head on the beer. Very nice roasted notes, with a lingering roasted finish. Moderate mouthfeel, and very drinkable. This is a great porter, that I would recommend to anyone who likes the style.

From a bottle. Pours almost black with a thick beige head. Really nice lacing. Aromas of chocolate malt, gypsum, butterscotch, vanilla and stone fruits. Flavors of plum, chocolate, vanilla, and bready notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Very little hop character, but this beer is well balanced and delicious.

Poured from 12 oz. bottle. Opaque, black-brown with an enormous light tan head and good lacing. Aroma of milk chocolate, cola, roasted malt and plums. Taste of sweet dark fruit, milk chocolate and roasted malt. Medium body and medium/high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Initial aroma of milk chocolate(!) Pours dark with a thick tan head that fades fast. But the initial taste has a taste of bitter chocolate with layers of flavor. Smooth and crisp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Tap at 3 monkeys. Pours deep amber tinged brown. Nose is malt and cola. Tastes heavily malted, of flag coke, caramel, coffee, and tinge of earthy bitters. Very creamy texture.

p2oz bottle, Pours dark black with a light tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is slightly sweet cocoa malt. Taste is roasted chocolate malts and toffee, and some chocolate malts coming through. For a stout it is on the thin and watery side, but still, this brew is a good tasting beer that is worth the try.

On draft. Black color with beige head. Aroma isn’t overpowering, but of chocolate. Sweet chocolate taste that ends slightly bitter.

12 oz. bottle from the Party Source. All this time in Ohio and I’m just now getting around to this one. Worst label ever? Pours a deep brownish amber with a small beige head. Aroma of leaves, chocolate, toast, nuts, brown sugar, and cardboard. Flavor of chocolate, nuts, toast, tobacco, earth, and grass. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Easy to drink but not memorable.

Pours dark brown, slight tan head, thin lacing. Aroma bready malt, toffee, milk chocolate, slight coffee and earthy hops. Taste roast malt, chocolate, toffee, slight bitter earthy hops and coffee. Mouthfeel medium, nice carbonation. Overall very tasty beer, well balanced, drinkable porter, fits style perfectly.

Pours dark brown to black with a light tan head that fades to a rim. Aroma is a bit sweet cocoa malt. Taste is roasted chocolate malts and toffee and quite sour. A bit thin and watery, but this is a pretty tasty and classic tasting malt.
