12 ounce bottle. Thanks JSquire! Pours a nice black with a decent brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, and dark fruit. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, dark fruit, citrus, a bit of hops, and a bit of alcohol. Very well done!!

Bottle. Pours opaque black with a medium creamy dark brown head that dissipates with nice lacing. Aroma is dark roasted malt, whiskey, cocoa, dried fruits, espresso. Flavor is much the same, with notes of tobacco. Medium sweet, light coffee bitterness. Full bodied and mouth coating creamy. Warming finish gives away the ABV. Wow this is good stuff.

Pours jet black covered by a tan head that reduces to a light lacing cap. Nose and taste of roast coffee, bitter chocolate, tangerine. This one has solid balance. Booze make me happy that it is the end of another day. Body is full.

Fresh from bottle. Great appearance, with brown head, but head dissipates quickly. Aromas of chocolate, and roasted malt. Taste is balanced more toward coffee/roast than chocolate on the malt end, small amount of hop flavor. This, for the price, is a solid malty stout.

Pours dark brown with a good thick brown head, leaves awesome lacing. Aroma is milk chocolate, dark fruit and some earthy hops. Taste is chocolate with some sweet coffee, and dirty earthy hops with just the right bitterness.palate is a boor thin but good overall

Pours a dark black color with almost no head. Surprisingly not much lacing on the glass. Lots of roasted malt aroma mixed with raisins, tobacco, burnt wood, light fruit, cocoa, and orange peel. Taste is sweeter than most imperial stouts. It’s light on tongue and mixes the aromas well together. Solid bitterness comes through in the finish with some grassy and slightly spicy hops. Mouthfeel is a bit thin but nice and sticky. Overall, a well made imperial stout that has a great price tag.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you callmemickey! Pours very dark reddish brown, very close to black, with a rather small creamy mocha head that quickly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet, malty and and slightly fruity with roasted malts, sweet liquorice candy, sweetened dark roast coffee, hay, raisins, alcohol, earthy minerals, moist tobacco, cocoa powder, lemon zest and prunes. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty with heavily roasted malts, salty liquorice candy, burnt wood, resin, earthy minerals, alcohol, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, pumpernickel, raisins, prunes, dates, orange zest and hints of tar and straw. Mouthfeel is creamy, soft, oily bitter, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet, bitter and malty with heavily roasted malts, dark roast coffee, burnt wood, resin, grass, moist soil, salty liquorice candy and hints of raisins and prunes. Was initially a bit put off by the smell but the taste is very nice and the mouthfeel is absolutely great.
