thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Dec 26, 2005 This draft brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of of unnoted size quickly diminishing off-white colored bubbles that left behind an unnoted lacing. The body contained no carbonation, was transparent and light brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of nutmeg and pumpkin . Its mouth feel is flat with a spicy biting smooth aftertaste. Its flavor contained pumpkin nutmeg and malt notes. argo0 (6144), Washington DC, USA Jan 24, 2005 (Dayton) Crystal clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, nutmeg. Taste is medium sweet, nutmeg, light pumpkin pie. Very watery light body. Looking at many of the other ratings, and given that it was several months past Thanksgiving, I wonder if I might have gotten an old keg. hotstuff (3038), Indiana, USA Jan 23, 2005 Rated at TDBC. My least favorite during this rating session. White head, fine-small sized bubbles, sparse lacing, transparent, and a red brown hue. A lot of pumpkiin in the aroma, sweet, nutmeg, and spicyness. Sweet, smooth, pumpkin, malt, dry flavor. The pumpkin taste was a little too much. Overly done IMO. Smooth and dry palate. Light-medium body. CaptainCougar (4624), Rockville, Maryland, USA Jan 10, 2005 On tap at brewpub: Pours a clear effervescent golden bronze with a frothy white head. Aroma is a nice blend of cinnamon and sugar spiced pumpkin with pale maltiness. Starts full, crisp and sweet with lots of great pumpkin flavor throughout. Well balanced with a semi-dry spiced finish. A real nice pumpkin brew. egajdzis (2947), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 22, 2004 Poured a dull copper color with a thin, off white, bubbly head that left nice lacing on the glass. Cinnamon, lots of pumpkin, allspice, nutmeg... kinda reminds me of french toast. Lots of thick rich pumpkin, light dry spiciness, and sweet malt. I thought the spices were rather subdued letting pumpkin take over.
