3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pumpkin malt, honey, and light spice aroma. Slightly hazy light copper with a moderate creamy off-white head, nice lacing. Malty pumpkin, light honey sweetness, ginger flavor. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice malt forward pumpkin beer with well balanced sweetness and spice. One of the better pumpkin beers Iíve tried.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing all along the glass.
The smell had some pumpkin up front with a nice allocation of cinnamon, allspice and ginger.
The taste was there as it took the previously mentioned flavors and combined them really nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a slight sessionability about it. Carbonation was somewhat smooth.
Overall, though I canít get this beer where I currently live, I would love to have it again some day as when I was able to have it, it was always a go to pumpkin ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
2013 12 oz bottle with a label that says "PUMPKIN ALE - ale brewed with pumpkin, honey & spices". Not emphasizing the spices anymore? In any case, the spicing level on this is excellent. Even though the aroma suggests a higher level of spicing, tasting reveals a balanced blend of caramelized pumpkin, malts and spices, with a hint of hops. Very mildly sweet.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Clear orange amber brew with steady white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spice. Taste is sweet with pumpkin fruit hints, a little spice in the finish (glad that it was restrained) and a little bitter. Nice seasonal brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange/amber with a small, off-white head.
Fresh, pumpkin pie filling aroma.
Malty, sweet, natural pumpkin flavor.
Nutmeg, cinnamon...the usual suspects....
Nicely done, though....
One of the best tasting of the breed.

Smooth, a bit warming, nice ginger flavor/scent up front. This is a good pumpkin beer, doesnít try to go all pumpkin pie on ya, Keeps the flavors clean and good.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle thanks to JStax, thanks! Pours a clear copper with a thin white head and no lacing, aroma seems heavy on the spices but has a decent amount of sweetness as well, the flavor has a good amount of spices on the front end, not bad by any means, just not blown away by pumpkin beers anymore.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Pours a lighter copper color with a nice translucency and a whitish head of foam. The aroma is fairly heavy on the spices with lots of ginger and cinnamon coming through. The ginger in particular is quite strong in this beer, and it makes it rather lively in the aroma. Some doughy, biscuity, pie crusty aromas make it in with the spices as well. For such a lively aroma, the taste is kind of out of touch...disconnected even. The aspects of the aroma that I really love, are quite muted on the tongue. Itís unfortunate, really. Had the aroma translated better to the taste and palate, this would be a world class beer, for sure.
