3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled on draft at Bocktown this beer poured a dark brown-black color with a small soapy tan head that faded quickly and left good lacing. The aroma was very faint wood, cherry, roasty malts and chocolate. The flavor was bitter, roasty, smoky and woody with faint notes of cherry, port wine, tobacco and cola. Medium length finish and a fairly light to medium body. Decent.

The finish is moderately bitter hops and spices with a malty aftertaste. Solid beer all around.
