COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Scottish Style Export Ale gets its unique flavor and aroma through a special time consuming, extra long and vigorous boil. The caramelization blends perfectly with the malty flavor of roasted barley and complementing hops. Raise a glass of this very drinkable ale to ANY occasion.

Mild caramel aroma, pours a hazy reddish amber with far too much carbonation (a gentle pour filled half my glass with head). Mild roasted flavor, with a caramel note. Highly carbonated, almost aggressively so. The beer isnít bad, just troublesome and difficult to drink. Tone down the carbonation some, and it would be much more enjoyable.

Pretty decent beer. Like the Thirsty Dog beers. Sent a long time ago from galaxy far, far away. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

caramel, basement aromas, orange, medium sweetness, very malty, which was not a bad thing, medium body, average carbonation, the second bottle had a little skunk to it.

Bottle. Earthy, dusty malt and light yeasty aroma. Murky brown with an uber fizzy, gargantuan ginormous beige head. Quite a bit of yeast sediment not an appealing looking beer at all. Caramel malt, toast, and a light grassy bitter flavor. Light, highly carbonated body with a dry finish. Felt very tingly on the tongue. While it didnít taste bad, it definitely was not like any of the scotch ales Iíve ever tried

A good anytime beer that has a basic barley flavor. I had it with nachos and it was fine.

12oz bottle - pours slightly murky amber with creamy off-white head. Nose is caramel, wood, brown sugar and a little smoke. Flavors adds a little chocolate and floral hops. Mainly sweet with a lingering bitterness. (really digging the new live Skinny Puppy album). Sticky palate. I like this beer, though I wish it were stronger.

Pours tea-like with a quick off-white head that fades rapidly to a ring and an island. Scent is mild....toffee....dry hay/grass. Taste is very subtle..caramel/toffee without excess sweetness...grassy dryness..malt. Rather nice....smooth.

Bottle. Glowing, mostly translucent amber. Nose is super bready, some caramel, pretty much spot on what I smell in many American made scotch ales. Some are smokey, this one is not. Flavor is caramel, light toffee, bread, and an earthy bitterness. Kinda watery palate. Kinda like a scotch ale on training wheels.
