3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Samís in Durham. Slightly hazy golden pour with smallish white head given the style. Grainy wheat dominates... mild yeast, but not a lot of the more interesting banana/fruit/bubblegum/clove tastes that make the style worthwhile. Meh.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle poured a light golden in color with a thin coating of white head. aroma has banana yeast, wheat, pale malt, and light citrus that might be there because I want it to be. mouth feel is light with a little sugar on the tongue. flavor has a nice yeasty profile, light malts, wheat, and mild hops. the banana yeast is the highlight here as the base beer is just alright.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This draft brew from a beer bar poured a small sized head of foamy yellow brown colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation slightly hazy orange colored body and a poor lacing. The mild aroma was dough. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild citrus dough and hops. A decent one but not one that I would consider drinking again.

12oz bottle. Poured a golden hazy color. Not a ton of aroma. I actually enjoyed this refreshing beer though while grilling out in the summer heat. Good flavor. Went down smooth. More along the lines of a hefe imo.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at Heorot, Muncie, IN. Poured a small off-white head that mostly diminished, no visible carbonation, cloudy body, no lacing, and a straw hue. The aroma was malty, wheat notes and hint of coriander. The flavor mimicked the aroma and had a short semi-dry finish. The mouthfeel was lightly tingly and this is a medium bodied beer. For the style, it lacks character, aroma, flavor, and it was a disappointing beer overall.

Draft. Poured hazy copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate citrus hefe aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Very drinkable beer.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bought a six pack of this at Whole Foods in Columbus for $9.99. I had a lot of hope for it because Thirsty Dog makes some pretty good brew - Old Leghumper and Lab Lager - being two of them. This beer was pretty bland and does not compare to the better hefeís out there. Itís drinkable, but a lower qualtiy hefe for sure.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Blah. Not a very good wheat ale. Aroma was very floral and perfumey. Smells like someone dripped perfume into the beer. Pour was a nice medium gold with swirling bubbles and a 2 finger white head. Taste was perfume, flowers and a slight light malt backbone. Not very full in flavor and not much aftertaste. Decent carbonation.

On tap at Winking Lizard Crosswoods. Hazy orange pour with a huge white head. Aroma of bananas, wheat malt and hotdogs. Muted banana flavor with creamy wheat malt and a touch of citrus.
