On tap at Thirsty Monk South in Asheville, it pours opaque black with a choco-tan head that reduces to ring lacing. Chocolate and roasted coffee to the nose. Great huge roasted coffee bean and toasted grain flavors at work. Light cherries to the fringes of the mouth, with bitter chocolates and smoked dark esters abundant. The mouthfeel is creamy with a full body. A very nice export-style stout: full, mature and substantial.
