COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bucket Head IPA is an aggressively hopped India Pale Ale. We believe that you should go big or go home. Therefore, we add Cascade, Centennial and Mt. Hood hops buckets at a time to make the biggest of our beers. This copper colored beer will start with a hint of sweetness, immediately followed with a punch in the mouth of bitterness.

Tap. Hazy Amber Brown. Head is thick and sticky. Aroma pine, pepper, and grass. Medium body. Deliciously hoppy. Well balanced. Great ipa

The aroma is a hoppy citrus. Pours a dark amber with a mostly diminishing white head and substantial lacing. The taste is sweet up front and hoppy on the finish. NICE! Fruity sweetness initially and citrusy on the tale end. Nice balance. Medium-light body and crisp carbonation. Overall, a very agreeable IPA that I would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the Whip In. Copper pour with a white head. The aroma and flavor are both very nice. I get a ton of pine and orange notes in both, as well as some lighter biscuit malt. The malt provides a bit of sweetness, but the bitterness level is about medium. Soft mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Very nice IPA.

Draught at Hopdoddy. Served in a big ass cold goblet for some reason. Slightly hoppy with some citrus to it. Bit of caramel and slight sweet.

Served in a Guinness Imperial Pint glass... Very nice copper color with a shallow, bubbly head. Somewhat of a sweet aroma and sweet initial taste. Then the hops/bitterness sets in. More of a bitter aftertaste than a smooth finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

draft. yeast nose of shallot / onion / garlic and must, which seems odd given the hop bill here, but that’s how it is. perfumed / musty citrus pith and spiced sweet vegetable hop aroma with large dose of yeast. high bitterness, medium acidity, low carbonation, mostly smooth texture other than the spicy hop acid. my overall opinion is that it’s muddled and muted but the undertones of garlic / vegetables tells me I wouldn’t enjoy much a cleaner version.

Pint glass at Alamo Lake Creek- served a slightly turbid copper/amber color. 4mm white head formed and laced very nicely upon the vessel, aroma of hops by the wheelbarrow load, malt, and heart. Hits the mouth with a wide medium body, malt is tasty (!) and laced lightly with caramel, middle has the typical hop wave- even and very good size, finish is cloying and extremely acidic. The notes read,"Ya can’t do this at BAIT AND SWITCH FLIX!". Indeed.

On tap at the Phoenix Saloon. The look is clear, amber colored, and an ok cream colored head. The taste is hoppy, grass, pine, good, and caramel. The smell is the same.
