4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
On tap. Dark gold pour w/ a tan head. Aroma is hops and citrus, with some caramel. Nice bitter, not as aggressive as the description might suggest, and a little sweetness. Flavors of grapefruit, citrus, just a little pine and caramel. Nice finish.
A very drinkable IPA.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Puts brown with a slightly off white head into pint. Aroma is very hoppy. Piny like. Taste is a good malt hop balance. bit of a bitter after taste. The hops are not my favorite, and seem more bitter than flavorful. The malts are a bit toasty. Thin ish body. Bubbly.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at saxon pub in Austin with commonmac. Pint glass. Copper with very little head. Small nose, probably because of the lack of head. Small amount of Malt sweetness and grain up front, then strong resin hops. Not super crisp. Finish stays with you.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Tap in a pint glass at Saxon Pub while listening to Denny Freeman with commonshawn. Light copper with minimal head. Aroma is all hops and taste follows suit. Cloying mouthfeel that grabs ahold and doesnít let go. Feels like they just went all in on the hop IPA without a ton of balance. Citrus rind and grapefruit are present. Some sugar sweetness is there at the end. Kind of a standard drop in the bucket IPA but itís not terrible.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear amber with small but nicely lacing white head. Nose is diminished floral hops notes and soap. Bitter punch, rather watery mouthfeel for how high gravity it is. Sweet in the middle. Peanuts? I do like the long, bitter finish. Overall meh
