COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bucket Head IPA is an aggressively hopped India Pale Ale. We believe that you should go big or go home. Therefore, we add Cascade, Centennial and Mt. Hood hops buckets at a time to make the biggest of our beers. This copper colored beer will start with a hint of sweetness, immediately followed with a punch in the mouth of bitterness.

Light gold pour, small off-white head. Nose is grapefruit. Middle is medium roasted malt sweetness. Finish is pleasant medium hop bitterness that hangs around awhile. Went great with Salvadoran sampler of chicken tamales, pupusas, fried yuca, fried plantain and gallo pinto. Yum.

On tap at hopdoddy’s. Pour is dark amber, almost brown with big fluffy tan head. Aroma is hoppy and so is taste, but not overly so and maltiness is evident. Smooth and drinkable without a long, bitter aftertaste. Not your typical IPA, more reminiscent of other pale-ale varieties. But a very enjoyable beer.

On tap at a bar in Austin. Aroma is pine and heavy malt. Pours amber with a big frothy head. Taste is grapefruit zest, pine and a huge malt finish. Medium thick mouthfeel with not too much bitterness. Approachable and mildy hoppy. Meh?

Smell faint fruit and light alcohol. Taste pretty bitter and a bit harsh. Decent but not my favorite ipa

On tap at brewery, poured a clear copper hue w/ sticky white head. Light hop aroma. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a bold bitter finish. Tastes are grass and straw. Medium bodied. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Blackfinn. Clear deep amber with tiny white head leaving minimal lace. Nose is light pine and biscuit. Sweet malty start with citrus bitterness. Odd metallic notes in the finish. Medium body with average carbonation. OK

Amber bodied, misty, nice looking. Juicy hops, sweet grapefruit, simple yet decent. Clean yeast, amber malts. Light bitter, bit juicy, simple. I do appreciate the body and cleanliness that’s almost non craft like. Drinks easily, could use some extra flair, sweetness perhaps. (On tap at The Liberty Tavern Austin)

The aroma is a hoppy citrus. Pours a dark amber with a mostly diminishing white head and substantial lacing. The taste is sweet up front and hoppy on the finish. NICE! Fruity sweetness initially and citrusy on the tale end. Nice balance. Medium-light body and crisp carbonation. Overall, a very agreeable IPA that I would drink again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
