0.5 bottle. Dark-coppery color, a small creamy head, slightly tanned. Discreet aroma of herbs and grass with a tiny cough drop, and a very delicate toasted malts scent. Taste is bitter yet not to a fault, mostly hop. It can’t be called elaborate or particularly pleasant but it’s alright. Medium body, creamy texture and a slightly-below-average carbonation. Finish is medium-long, mostly complementary to the taste but introduces some hay and spruce. All in all it is an unremarkable brew, doesn’t fail but neither does it excel at any point, fine as a disobliging beverage at a casual party.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2012 Fine, but weak aroma of malt, bitter-sweet toffy and some spices. Very nice hazy orange-brown color. Light malty, light spicy, notes of fruits, bitterness and slighty hoppy finish. Decent, but straight brew.

0.5 L bottle from Superbrugsen Tranbjerg, Samsø. Pours a clear golden brown, topped by a finger of foamy blond head. Discreet aroma of toasted, light bready malts and plummy fruitiness. Also some fine grassy and spicy hop tones. Sweet malt flavor, clean and inviting. A certain jammy fruit sweetness, and a firm but rounded bitterness. Medium body strenght. Balanced malty-bitter ending. A well crafted Brit-styled strong ale. Ilke it a lot.

Lovely solid clear amber in colour with a thin beige head. Shows aromas of floral heather and herbs. Light lively on the tongue but flattens quickly developing a slick layer of mid sweetness and bitterness. Finish is rather average.

Bärnstensfärgad öl med ett smutsvitt skum. En söt doft av karamell och lätt kryddighet. Smaken är farin, maltig karamell och lätt rostade toner.

Marvelous! Right down my alley. Beatiful aroma and color. Fonds off more as an IPA, not a strong ale...? Good bitterness, nice fruityness and a smooth sweetness in the finish. Thisted is becoming one of my favorite breweries.

Copper, thin white head. Smells of caramel, hops, some grass. Taste is light sweet, malty, some harsh malt flavors in the back. Feels like eating green leaves. Medium bitter, some grass and herbs. Quite nice, still the mouthfeel is quite strange and not what i normally like

Konjaksfärgad öl med stort gräddigt skum. Doft: karemell, bränt socker och lakrits. Smak: torkad frukt, karamell och lakrits (fast svagare än i aromen). Inget öl att köpa hem mer flaskor av.
