Bottle from Systembolaget (stored in the cellar for a while). Hops and grass on the nose, also some fruits. Similar taste with dark bread but not very roasted. I have a feeling this was better fresh then stored, but still good.

God lukt og utseende. God lang ettersmak. Noe skarp første smak, men er et godt og fyldig øl.

50cl. bottle. Looks like a porter. Taste is of sugar, caramel, coffee and lots of roasted malt. Sweet at first, then a dry slightly bitter aftertaste. Doesn’t smell like anything. Alcohol is masked pretty well. Pretty good.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable dark tan head. Distinct aroma of maæt, caramel and pine needles. Intense, stony and earthy notes in the malty flavour. Dry aftertaste. Very intereseting.

Shared at school, thanks Niklas. Dark brown body with a medium light brown head. Aroma is light hops, roasted malt, bitter coffee. Flavor is tar, bitter coffee, licorice.

Strong taste of coffee and with lots of bitterness from hops. Very darkbeer almost black body with lightbrown head that look nice in glas. I really liked this beer especially the strong taste and bitterness.

Fra flaske på Cardinaltreff okt-12: godt humlet, men allikevel fint balansert. Solbær, litt fudge og behagelig bitterhet. Lang ettersmak, fint karbonert og god munnfylde. Ikke helt opp mot Limfjordporter, men et godt øl.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with a big tanned head. Aroma of liquorice and fruity hops. Taste is moderate sweet, red berries, liquorice, pine and grapefruit. Creamy mouthfeel.

50 cl shared bottle at Cardinal. Clear deep mahogany with a light brown, creamy, small head leaving good lacing. Rich dark toffee, malty, sprucy, dried fruits, sweet liquorice nose. Smooth, malty, light salty, liquorice, light fresh bamboo, medium bodied mouth.
