Rating #358, bottle from Rema1000

Completely black beer with a dense finger-thick brown head that lasts very long. Lacings on side of the glass. Aroma is much more flowery and grassy hopped than I expected, and roasted and caramel malts are only second aroma, although they are still very obvious. There is also a bit of yeast to be traced, but it is not much. Taste is marked by the hops and malts; mainly it consists of indefineable bitterness and roastedness. Caramel and coffee becomes more obvious closer to the finish. BItter aftertaste and a bit yeast and metal. A lagered barrel-taste too. Medium body, creamy. I expected a more porter-like smoked beer, but this is nice too.
