Bottle. Quite perfumed hop aromatics mask the coffee. Black, lacing brown head.Nice coffee and licorice background, a bit too perfumed with piney hops for my taste though. Sparkly mouthfeel on a chewy medium body. Roast and resin aftertaste.

(33 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen) Pours black with medium, toffee head that dissipitates quickly leaving lacework in the glass. Aroma is bitter and hoppy. Creamy on the palate, full-bodied with a long, bitter finish. Taste is very bitter without the redeeming floral or fruity character that one finds in the Abstrakt AB:06 for example. Impressive beer but the bitterness is very demanding.

Biggish brown head. Opaque black body goes deep dark translucent clear red at edges. Roasty caramelly juniper aroma with herbal meaty notes. Dry-sweet roasty juniper chocolate taste with earthy burnt notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dry mineraly earthy chocolate aftertaste with juniper and burnt notes. Coffee, and pine needles, too. Nice, drinkable, full of character, but maybe a bit sharp. (0.33l bottle, Kvickly, Ebeltoft.)
