3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 NosirIwont (1733) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - MAR 5, 2013
Bottle. 7.0%. Best before 07.05.13. Pours a dark brown with a frothy khaki/light brown head. Decent lacing. Roasted aroma with a smoked note. Flavour is smoked, tart and sweetish on a roasted background. A wee bit watery. Tart, bitter finish with more smoke, a hint of alcohol and a lingering dry note. Light citrus and apple notes as it warms. Overall pretty okay, although the smoked note seems a bit heavy compared to the rest of the beer. 05.03.13.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 LookMomNoHands (1115) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2012
50 cl. bottle poured in to a weizen. Nice pitch black colour in the tall glass with a creamy, light tan head. Rather unusual aroma for a dunkelweizen: Smoked malts, coffee, chocolate and liquorice, some yeasty notes, where the wheat beer shows. Taste is sweet and "smoked". Medium body with a creamy texture. Average finish with smoked malts, hops, coffee and chocolate. This beer is an odd mixture of styles, weissbier and a good, smoked porter. Challenging the styles can sometimes be a good thing, sometimes you probably should not...
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 stobbe74 (3788) - DENMARK - AUG 28, 2012
Pours a clear and dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is malt, coffee, chocolate, licorice, ash, roasted and weak smoke. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is roasted with sweetness. Overall a good beer.

500 ml bottle. Almost black body with a medium sized beige head. Nice aroma of roasted and smoked malt with a hint of cured meats and liquorices. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, moderate bitterness, coffee and some liquorices. Body is medium plus with a decent aftertaste. Quite pleasant, nothing outstanding, but in this case this is just nice.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Maria (9631) - Thisted, DENMARK - AUG 16, 2012
It’s dark brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of smoke, roasted malt - well pretty much like Thy Limfjordsporter with a little weissbier added...
The moderately sweet flavor gives me the exact same feeling, a Limfjordsporter softened - very nice - but far from a dunkel weizen. IF it has been a porter, it would have been 3.7 + - but not as a dunkel weizen, it’s too far from the style...

Bottle, 7.0%. Roasted aroma, hint of smoke. Black colour, seems unclear. Small tan head. The flavour is very roasted with a good smoke note. Late, distinct bitterness. Good mouthfeel. Resembles Limfjordsporter tremendously.
