Bottle with many thanks from MiP. The beer has got a clear deep golden / light amber colour with low steady head and medium body. Nose of mild, young hops. Taste of light malt, ripe grains, ripe hops, barley, strong alcohol and clover. Flowery finish. Good one.

Handles just approved. Thisted sour flavors are included here but without dominating so maltier sweet and crunchy tastes gets certain space. The hops shines though in their absence.

LicoriceKing (48) - DENMARK - APR 6, 2013
Clear amber color. Aroma of hops, caramel and peach. The taste is nutty, malty, earthy and bitter with just a little bit of alcohol. The palate is initially pretty aggressive, but it rounds up with a very dry, roasty finish. It’s a pretty unusual beer, but good nonetheless.

KoNrRiI (481) - Århus, DENMARK - NOV 13, 2012
0.5 bottle as 5 Stenøl. Clear, nice and light crimson color, white, medium, creamy head on top. Aroma is malt-yeasty, some dark fruits, caramel and basement aromas paired with some vegetable scents. Taste is well balanced in respect to bitterness and sweetness, with both being slightly predominant at different time. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation. Finish is medium in length, and rather average when it comes to taste, reintroduces some bitterish vegetable flavors. All in all the beer is pretty good, surprises with the vegetables at the end but pulls it off nicely.

High stiff head. Oaky aroma emphasized with hops and alcohol. Rich in flavor; nuts, dried fruit, floral sweet molasses. Soft feeling. Nice for a meal or on its own.
