Lovely clear dark golden with a firm, small, creamy, off-white head. Aroma has grassy hops, crispy and light biscuity malts and some fine sweetish fruit. High prickly carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has mild metallic notes (from carbonation), clear grape-juice, peachy hops, light cardboard. Fairly crisp malts and a vinious streak to it. Lingering, fairly sharp bitterness with earthy, grassy and peachy notes. Okay constructed.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head. Lightly biscioty and bready aroma, with a nice flowery, piney hoppyness. Medium to full body, pleasantly carbonated, quite dry. The flavor is citrusy and bitter, with some pine cones, bready malts, a flowery touch and some lightly peppery notes. Some bitterness in the finish. A quite nice one, although I’d like it a bit more citrusy. When finishing my comments, I read that the beer has grapejuice added, that doesn’t surprise me, but I don’t think I’d recognize it without reading the commercial description. 120405

It’s slightly hazy warm deep amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet and well rounded with notes of malt, fruit, caramel, grapes, yeast - slightly vinous, and the finish is slightly spicy and dry. Nice indeed, but as a spring beer, I would have like it with a lesser ABV.

courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - hazy dark orange beer with a poor head retention; estery aroma with notes of chewy malts and oranges; candied fruits and cane sugar; pretty sweet, a good malt backbone; some bitterness; somehow manages to be pretty dry; long estery finish with notes of oranges and brown sugar - interesting
