after4ever (1751), Brier, Washington, USA May 4, 2008 330. Thanks, Maria! This is definitely a dusty little gem. Pours black with an immense, towering, creamy, surging dark tan head. Looks more like an impy. Big roasty sweet loquoricey nose. Rich, creamy body on the high side of medium. Roasty sweet dark malt, liquorice, and some char come roaring around on the mid-palate. Definitely a very assertive beer. Long but fairlymild charcoal finish. Good stuff. FrankJohansen (2807), Sabro, Denmark Mar 6, 2008 Bottle. Black colour with a huge mostly lasting light brown head. Rich aroma and taste of roasted malts and coffee. Nice creamy palate. Very good beer. Theis (2208), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 11, 2008 Bottle at home. Black - brown head. Burned, sweetness, licorice, dried fruits, heavy roasted/burned malts, light smoke. Nice mild and round mouthfeeling. Emil (6077), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 29, 2008 Bottle.
