Beautiful dark amber with a huge, nice and creamy head. The aroma isn’t very strong, but I do find malt and fruity hops. The flavour has notes of caramel, malt, fruit, citrus and grapefruit in the somewhat dry finish. It’s very easy to drink, tasty and a nice thirst quencher.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, tasting @ yespr] Average thick off-white head that mostly diminished. Good display of film like lacework. Golden reddish glow colour. Light dusty grain sniff, with light spicy and caramel, hint fruity. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Light sweet flavour. Light sweet malty finish.

Bottle, bought @ SuperBrugsen, Bramdrupdam. Pours a nice amber with lots of bubbles reaching a creamy, dense yellowish head. Aroma is hoppy, a little grassy with some flowers and lemons. Nice mouthfeel, not watery at all - quite dry actually. Flavour is brimming with fresh hops, grassy, peppery with a good malty caramel backing. Good ESB!

550 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a big off-white head. Aroma is not so strong, but very nice, hoppy, grass, hay and citrus. Flavor is fresh hoppy, malty and citrus. Not complex but very well balanced. A really refreshing creation from Thisted.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a dense, beige head. Quite balanced nose, maybe a bit boring, but at least it has some citrus to go with the malt and hops. Liked it a lot though. Malt and hops comes together in a nice union in the flavor as well, and also has some stock, citrus and pine. Medium to full mouthfeel and a nice finish with malt, citrus and hops. Another nice creation from Thisted, maybe the first really good one that is not a stout or similar. (070427)

Bottled. A copper colored beer with a huge orange-beige head. The aroma is sweet with a dusty hop note combined with citrus, nuts, and caramel - the citrus being quite sharp. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of toffee, but also nuts, and some citrus, leading to a dry nutty end with a light touch of metal. The mouthfeel is very sparkling due to a high carbonation level, which together with the alcohol note reminds me a bit of a glass of champagne.
