It’s dark red mahogany with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, spice, roasted malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet/moderately sweet with notes of licorice, caramel, spice, fruit and it grows more and more spicy towards the finish.

Vintage 2012. Choć bez osadu drozdzowego faktycznie przypomina belgijskie dubble. Karmelowe, slodowe i rozgrzewajace. Aromatyczne ze spora gruboziarnista piana jest ciekawe. kolor koloru brazu ciemnego. Rocznikowane, moze skromna etykieta ale kryje sie za tym wyraziste piwo rodem z Danii

0.5 bottle. Crimson and violet in color, an off-white head of medium size and a good enough retention. Aroma is minutely alcoholic, malty with some spices, generally resembles an abbey ale but rather half-baked. Very malty taste, above all nuts and some wood, mostly bitter though. Medium body, thick texture and soft carbonation. Finish is the only noticeable blemish, first goes in smoothly but later leaves a trace of some astringent aftertaste together with an alcoholic tang. All in all the beer is really fine, I simply did not expect anything like that.
