Familien Frederiksen og Martinussen var uenige. En dejlig øl med god efter smag og et flot udseende. Dog minder den ikke om en decideret juleøl. Mere krydderi og Malt ville gøre den bedre.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with small white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of yeast and hops and hints of caramel. Sweetish, malty flavour with notes of hops and estery touches. Bitter, metallic aftertaste with some sourish touches. Nothing to write home about. Drinkable, though.

Bottle. Clear amber with an off-white head that persists in a thin layer, good lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, light hops. The taste is bittersweet. Light bodied and rather boring.

0.5 bottle. Dark, amber color and a small, thin, white head. Sweet, malty aroma with hop elements - mostly caramel and bread with floral and herb scents. Taste is also a combination of malts and hops but this time the latter predominate effectively making it quite bitter with malty sweetness acting only as a support. Light to medium body, thin texture, and above average carbonation. Finish is shortish, rather dry and uneventful. Overall the brew is mediocre, does not it any way resemble a Christmas beer, and is generally kind of a letdown considering the brewery’s other creations.

[Thanks to 1st European Secret Santa]. Light brown colour with an off-white head with medium lasting and moderate lacework. Aroma has notes of floral hops, light nuts and moderate malty. Flavor is quite similar as aroma with notes of light caramel and with a light bitterness in the final.

Smells of caramelmalt and hops. Pours light amber with minimal white head. Tastes a little like burnt sugar. But mostly just hops.

Bottle. Amber color with medium two-finger white-off head. Sweet malt, caramel and light, subtle herb-notes in the nose. Malty sweetness, nuts, roasted, and light burned caramel taste. Weak citrus and lemon as well. Grass and grainy hobby finish. Little dry mouth-feel. Body is light to medium, carbonation likewise. Quite enjoyable without leaving you astounded.

A great holiday beer from my grandfathers brewery Thisted Bryghus. It is not quite as strong as the others which makes it easier to enjoy ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

tap@Lord Nelson - amber pour with a small white head. Sweet malts, caramel, slightly toasted, nutty, grassy, and slight herbal nuances along with slight hoppy notes. Pretty sweet overall.

courtesy of Antonio Ruiz - clear and bright amber-red beer with a little foam left; the nose is gently herbal and spicy with hints of caramel; a good malt backbone, subtle carbonation and pretty assertive; a fair herbal bitterness, pretty dry and long spicy finish - original
