Commercial Description:

12oz bottle courtesy of sk8viking. Thanks, Rene! Pours a dark brown center (nearly black); khaki head with decent lacing. Plenty of charred malts, bitter chocolate in the aroma; hints of smoke. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: chewy malt profile showing maple syrup, burnt malts and bitter chocolate. Medium finish: slightly dry.

Poured black with a large brown head. Nice roasty aroma with coffee, chocolate, tobacco, dark fruit. and smoke that came out as the beer warmed. Bitter sweet chocolate and roasted malt flavor. Dry finsih with a good bitterness.

Aroma has undertones of clay but is overpowered by a nice smoke sausage. Taste has a magnificent old school liquorice which danes and icelanders know very well, smoke aftertaste with a tiny hints of malts and garlic. Nice and subtle

This bottled brew from JSquire at a rating party poured a large sized head of foamy fine to medium sized brown colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a opaque no visible carbonation black colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was brown malt. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start mediumly tingly at the finish dark malt aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of hops and dark malt. A decent one that I would consider having again.

A heavyweight-stout. Very strong taste and smell. Anything from chocolate to oil will hit your mouth. Strong brown foam. Nice aroma. An intense experience.

33cl bottle, obtained in trade with my Secret Santa sunevdj - THANKS SUNE! dark brown, almost black, with a small brown head. Nose is dry baking chocolate and coffee. Bracing, dry bitter baking chocolate flavors, black coffee. Once this guy fully warms, everything smooths out, and a dark fruit quality appears in the flavor and nose. Bitter black coffee finish. Light bodied without being thin. Very nice!
