---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drinking from a 500ml bottle. Malt and citrus in the aroma. The clear golden beer has a medium white head. The taste is a bit bitter, grains, some spices. High Carbonated

Crystal clear, pale golden body with a long-lived, white head that leaves a good amount of lacing on the glass before ending up as a fully covering film. Rather strong but boring aroma of sweet pale malts, herbs and citrus in the back. Light to moderate sweet taste with a moderate to light bitter, long-lasting finish with notes of herbs and grass. The main component of the flavour is pale malts, though, with additional floral notes. Crisp, light and dry mouthfeel with a quite lively carbonation. Close to interesting.

Pours pale yellow with medium, long-lasting creamy white head, high carbonation. Aroma is malt, herbal. Noticeable bitterness especially in after-taste, well balanced with sweetness.

Bottle, 50cl. Pours clear golden colour with a small-medium, but stable off-white head. Fresh, fruity and malt in the nose with a clear herbal touch. Flavour is malty and fruity, citrus peel, notable, but pleasant hobs and herbal in a semi-dry bitter finish. Medium body with medium to light fizzy carbonation. Its quite decent. Don’t really get excited about the branded bog myrtle sensation.

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. Lightly buttery nose with a fruityness and some herbal hints. It’s full-bodied and pleasantly carbonated on the palate, semi-dry, with flavors of pale malts, fruityness, some pine cones and citrus peel and a herbal touch. Some bitterness in the finish. A pretty decent one, but still quite boring. 140118

Bottle. Clear, a bit pale golden with a small white head. Quite grainy aroma with hay and a distinct sweetish note. Quite bitter flavor, yet with a balancing sweetness and some floral notes. Medium body and a pleasant bitterness in the finish. A quite nice beer, yet probably not one I’m going to buy again. (070407)

Vestjysk Vinter Vanvid januar 2014. Golden with a small white head. Malty and herbal aroma. Sweetish malty flavour with bog myrtle in the background
Earlier Rating: 3/29/2005 Total Score: 2.8
Yellow beer. Malt and herbs aroma. Malt dominated sweet flavour, more bread than herbs... But the herbs give it a nice (and still sweet) finish.
