COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Clear yellow with a fine head. Dominant porse in the aroma with notes of pine and alcohol. Fresh flavor with porse, malts and alcohol. Nice one.

Bottle, 50 cl. Clear golden. Herbal, sweet malty, slightly spicy touch of sweet gale. Metallic bitter finish. Ok for lunch, but I have had this a lot of times at different family occasions during the last 10 years and somehow I can’t realy spot the difference between this and most of the other lager offerings from Thisted.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a thick but airywhite head. Clear aroma of hop and herbs. Richly carbonated. Hoppy taste, leaving a bitter aftertaste with a slightly metallic finish. Drinkable, but nothing out of the ordinary. I have no idea why this beer should be sold as special brew in Denmark. It tastes like a regular lager.

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2012 0.5 bottle as 1 Porse. Clear and golden, small quickly disappearing head. Quaint aroma, mostly yeasty with some slight hop additions. Dough, leather, some grass and a little bit of cheesy stench. Delicate taste, somewhat bitter, resembles hay. Body is light, texture smooth and carbonation average. Finish is disappointing, simple, brings in more hay and some hop flavors. All in all it is a plain and meek brew. Heller Bock is not my favorite style, but nevertheless this one falls mediocre on the scale.

Pours bright yellow. Small white head. Small carbonation. The smell and taste are weak and aftertaste is unbalanced with a bit alcohol. This is not good at all.
