Grain and citrus on the nose. Clove taste. Slightly bitter which may not be something bracket at all in the mouth. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Beergaard (76) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2014
Clear gloden, lovely white head. Mild aroma with alcohol, some fresh malt and hop notes. Fresh and thirst-quenching - some malt, some bitterness and some distinctness from the porse(bog myrtle). This is a beer that grows on you.

Benzai (8360) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - FEB 2, 2014
50cl bottle shared by dad @ mum’s birthday. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly some herbs, hay, straw, moderately bitter. Not bad, decently crisp.

RasmusOtt (1147) - Aalborg, DENMARK - DEC 28, 2013
Pours piss yellow with a white and actually lasting head. Aroma of sweet biscuit, sweet malts, very mild grassy hops and some plants. Taste of grassy and slight metallic pilsner hops and sweet malts leading to a pilsnerish bitter end.

LasseVPedersen (244) - Aarhus N, DENMARK - DEC 6, 2013
Bottle. Pours yellow golden color with small, white-off head. Sweet malt, clear hobs and spiciness. Light malt in the first taste, followed by grain, hay, herbs, and decent bitterness. Not sure what to expect by "porse". Average to lively carbonation, medium body for the type, little watery mouth-feel toward the end. Ok beer.

StoutHead (661) - DENMARK - NOV 6, 2013
Bottle. Pours yellow with a small and short-lived white head. It smells like a normal hoppy lager - I have no idea how bog myrtle is supposed to smell so I can’t recognize it. The taste is very lager-like - mostly of malt, hops, caramel and some hay - with a strange undefinable spicy flavour...the myrtle, I’m guessing. It has a very bitter aftertaste. I wouldn’t call it bad, but it’s not something I want again.

Floorkill (25) - Kolding, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2013
The best beer in the world. Hand picked Porse is used in combination with hops. It's made at Thisted Bryghus which used to be my grand dad's brewery ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Clear golden color, small thin white head. Minimal nose. Crisp, light bodied beer with light bitterness to finish. Standard carbonation. Will go well with a Danish Lunch plate.

Golden with white head. Sweet malty aroma, caramel. Taste of sweet malts, caramel and some spices. Weak bitter finish
