I saved this specially for the rating #200. Very dark brown with a lasting brown head. small laces. Aroma: tar and dark roasted malt is dominating, but also a lot of hops in the aroma. Dark chocolate and coffee also. Taste: Really bitter and spicy. Roasted malt and tar. Dark chocolate in the aftertaste. Reallly iteresting and complex. Maybe a little to bitter but a really good beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A Sim rate (bottle at chris o’s pre-GBBF): So incredibly fresh. It’s hops in a fresh-green-grass-has-just-been-cut sort of way. The flavour’s bitter at first with a hops kick that cuts across the back of your mouth. So bitter and then sweet with chocolate and caramel.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, at Copenhagen Beerfestival. It pours a next to black body under a small, beige to tan head. Coffee, roasted malts, resin and citrus on the nose. Licorice, resiny hops, roasted malts, some burnt notes and a little tar in the mouth. Nicely hopped finish. Full-bodied and dry in the mouth. A nice blend of hops and dark malts, but I don’t see any need to blend it, the ublended edition is even better. (090516)
