2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Bottle 33 cl) When this was released it was the first new beer from Thisted for several years. Apparently it had taken brewmaster Clemmensen 3 years to develop this.
Dark amber with a rich head, leaving laces. Very full-bodied with the use of no less than four different malts. Typically for Thisted this has a characteristic, sharp bitterness that seems to last forever. Well crafted, I just need a bit more sophistication and refinement. 210701

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Copper colour with a short-lasting off-white head. Aroma is sourish and hoppy with malt and caramel. Somewhat dryish. Flavour is metallic and sourish. Some hops and malt. A bit watery.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
White head on a dark amber body. Malty and bitter. Interesting beer, but not a exceptional brew. Likable for Winter days.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle, at home.
Dark brown with white head. Fine lacings, quickly disappearing. Bitter with a taste of smoke. Not a typical classic, exciting anyway.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(on bottle) Short hit of hard burnt malt at first, nice. Not a big mouthfull, but not over carbonated, so I like it. Small finish of malts. Best normal-brew from Thisted. And, by Jove, if it don´t has corn in it...

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Malty, sour aroma. Not so nice, light brown colour. Unstable white head. Flavour is quite dry with some sourness and smokiness. Aftertaste is slightly sour. Not as sour as it may sound, it is actually quite well-balanced, but not very interesting.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle, DBF 2004. Amber bronze, low white head and moderate condition. Low sweet malt in the nose, malty in the mouth and a rough grainy finish.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber color, nice head. Some fruit in the start, but becomes a bit watery in the middle. The aftertaste is also a bit fruity, and it turns dry in the end. OK, but nothing special. Average for the style.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is slightly malty sweet. The color is a dark amber and it has a beutiful off-white head. The flavor is nicely malty, OK sweet, with a light roast flavor and a little bitterness - but a nice one. The best danish "classic" I've tasted.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark amber color; generous head. Some malt aroma. Not impressive taste, quite weak body; just a very light roasted malt note. Correct final, but too short.
