3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
33 cL bottle. Pours deep golden orange, slight hazy and with a diminishing and dense white head. Grainy to cornish aroma, dry to dusty. Flavour holds a dark caramel malt, mildly roasted and with a mild sweetness. Finish brings a solid bitterness with a toffee caramel lingering on top. Solid to nice brew.

3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is slightly malty sweet. The color is a dark amber and it has a beutiful off-white head. The flavor is nicely malty, OK sweet, with a light roast flavor and a little bitterness - but a nice one. The best danish "classic" I've tasted.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
(Bottle 33 cl) When this was released it was the first new beer from Thisted for several years. Apparently it had taken brewmaster Clemmensen 3 years to develop this.
Dark amber with a rich head, leaving laces. Very full-bodied with the use of no less than four different malts. Typically for Thisted this has a characteristic, sharp bitterness that seems to last forever. Well crafted, I just need a bit more sophistication and refinement. 210701

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottled. Clear amber, rich head. Aroma of boiled vegetables. Dry and light bodied with clean mouthfeel. Dusty style fruitiness with some old figs. Unpleasant dusty finish. Quite aggressive and not very likable.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark amber color; generous head. Some malt aroma. Not impressive taste, quite weak body; just a very light roasted malt note. Correct final, but too short.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottled. Pours clear, copper-colored, with an off-white head. It has a weak but quite pleasant aroma with malt and some roastiness, but lacks hop-balance. The flavor has malt, some grain and weak, roasted notes. Medium body and a grainy finish. A quite ordinary lager, but a tad better than the regular pale lager. (070106)
