Bottled
Pours clear dark amber with a thick head. Aroma was hard to catch but I do sense some caramel, yeast and liquorice. Thick mouth-feel. Flavour is a little bit of hops, a little bit of caramel and a little bit of alcohol but none of the flavours really sticks out. A middle-of-the-road American Strong Ale.

Bottle. Pours clearand dark amber with a nice off-white head. Good lacing. Nose of malt and floral hops. Sweet malty flavour with caramel, fruit, hops and some alcohol. Medium bodied. Nice bitter finish.

Picked this up in Denmark Sept’ 2008, consumed 15-10-08 Pours a rich red colour with a white bubbly head. The aroma is rather sweet and malty but with a little yeast there also. Taste is also quite sweet and malty and a little too alcoholic for me, sweet candi sugars push through, bit sticky not my thing at all really.

En nydelig, og kunstnerisk øl, men med en let rusten ristet løg-smag i enden. Endog skøn at indtage til en gang pyramidedruk..

The bottle looks strange, but good. The beer in the glass really nice, very zippy, nice head. Tastes malty and dry, a little bit like an Imperial Stout. Very drinkable and good beer! Big thanks to yespr for the bottle!
