Bottle. BBF280108. Clear light to medium amber color with small particles, and a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, notes of caramel, malt sourness. Flavor is moderate sweet and light malt sour with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (231207)

Bottled. Amber with an ok head. Dry, sweet, malty nose. Dry mouthfeel; wet peas and some other vegetables. Some bitterness.

Bottle. AMber color, offwhite head. Vegetable aroma. Malty flavor with peas and vegetables. Rather boring.

Bottle. Amber color with an off white head. Malty light earthy aroma. Full malty body with notes of caramel. Slightly over carbonated and bitter palate.

Bottle, from SuperBrugsen Vonsild. Pours a clear brown with a big creamy white head. Aroma is lightly roasted with a touch of caramel. Thin and watery palate. Flavour is equally limited, slightly roasted and sweet caramel with only limited bitterness.

(Draught at Charlie’s, Copenhagen, 4 Aug 2007) Dark amber colur with frothy beige head. Malty nose with notes of dark fruit, prunes and raisins. Malty taste with dark rye bread, dark fruit and a dry bitterness in the finish. Very good balance. I didn’t have high expectations, but this one was surprisingly good.

Bottle from MiP. Brown color. Malty, somewhat burned aroma with even a hint of smoke. Roast flavor of brown sugar. Grainy, dry roasted aftertaste. Much better as expected, could use more fruity notes.

Half. Draught at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Clear mahogany body under a thin, but lasting off-white head. Good lacing on the glass. Dark malty aroma. Caramel sweetness mixed with a note of tart fruits to be found in the flavour. Short bitter ending. Creamy palate (02.08.2007).

33 cL bottle. Pours brown with a hue crispy and quickly disappearin slight off-white head. Malty, slight mouldy and an off note I cannot describe. Very carbonated mouthfeel. Slight caramel malty with bitterness in the finish. Sadly the heavy carbonation takes completely over here.
