33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is cornish and sweet malty. Flavour is the same. Sweet and light bitter flavoured. Lasting malty and slight cornish finish.
Earlier Rating: 11/9/2007 Total Score: 2.4
33 cL bottle. Pours golden yellow to orange, clear, with a dense orange head diminishing to almost nothing within a minute. Aroma is malty, medium sweet, with a mild mouldy/barnyard note. Flavour is a blend of slight spiced malt and herbal hops, persisting bitter and only medium sweet. I sense a mild metallic sharpness before the finish. Ends with a mild bitterness and some malt sweetness. Decent but not much to do with Christmas.

A golden beer with a small head. The aroma is pretty sweet and malty with no complexity. The flavor is dominated by sweetness and tastes like hay, the feel is thick. It misses balance and flavor - an average strong beer.

(Bottle 33 cl) Thisted has created it’s very own little niche by brewing a series of organic beers - this is the best of the lot. Pale amber colour, with a small white head. Nice malty aroma and a lingering maltiness in the flavour. well balanced with a discreet bitter finish. Nice brew indeed. 121299
