Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden beer with a medium sized white head that disappears quickly. Aroma is rather skunky, malty and uninteresting. Flavor starts off quite sweet but gets rather bitter during the middle and end. Fairly boring and dull really. Meh, moving along.

ClubGonzo (3985) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUN 11, 2014
Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Nose is straw, floral honey notes, faint grass and pale malts. Taste is crisp pale malts, straw, hints of grass and floral honey. Light body, medium carbonation. Pretty much a run-of-the-mill Danish light lager, but I’ve had worse.

Purchased at Høkeren in Copenhagen, DK; enjoyed at my hotel room. Rated as Christiania Thy Pilsner. Unfortunately this stuff isn’t very good. Appearance is a pale fizzy yellow with a moderate white head. Aroma of a standard cheap European pilsener. Taste like any other pilsener out there, tastes cheap. Wish I would’ve avoided this one.

[5/4/14] Bottle at our airbnb apartment in Copenhagen. As Økologisk Christiania Thy Pilsner. Grainy, a bit vegetal. Slightly sweetish, mild bitterness. Light-bodied.

jookos (2072) - FINLAND - MAY 17, 2014
Bottle (as Økologisk Christiania Thy Pilsner). Yellow pale. Some leafy green hops, round light corny pale malts. Light refreshing body. Pretty basic pale pils. Has some continental hops in flavour though, and being an eco- product makes it a bit more interesting. Nothing terribly wrong with this.

Leighton (10698) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 4, 2014
Bottle at the flat in Copenhagen - sourced from a local supermarket. Pours clear, yellow-gold, lightly effervescent with a creamy, white foam head. The nose holds lightly dried cereal, a bit of cabbage, pale bread. Light sweet flavor with faint tangy, lemony citrus, mild grainy astringency, dried cereal. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately sweet to finish with further dry cereal, faint flinty paper, slight citrus, dry white bread. Fair.

Bottle. Clear golden yellow, medium sized white head. Spicy and herbal hoppy, grain, eggs. Light/medium body, light sweet and medium bitter. Long bitter finish. Ok, but the bitterness is a bit too much for me.
