0.5 l bottle. Almost black reddish brown color. Roasty, berryish and vinous aroma with salty licorice, coffee and leather. Dry roasty, smoky, leathery, berryish and vinous flavor with coffee, dark sugar and coffee. Tasty dry porter.

appears dark brown with stunningly beatiful brown head. aroma is licorice, roasted stuff, faint fruits, burnt stuff , flavor is very roaste , add slight strange acidity. sweetness (from sugar), charchoal, aftertaste has some weird falvors though. palate is too watery,

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2008 Flaske: Thy Porter er mørkebrun med et tykt, lysebrunt skum 2 fingre højt skum, der efterlader nogle pæne blonder på glasset. Aroma af ristet malt, gær og røgmalt. Smagen er kraftigt maltet med lakrids, kaffe og chokolade og let sødlig. Kroppen er: "full to medium". Eftersmagen er let bitter. En behagelig (smooth) porter.

Bottle that was picked up in Denmark in September 2008, consumed Nov’ 2008. Pours dark brown with beige head. Nice dry roasty lovely bitter stout, really quite tasty. Burnt hazlenuts and some super smooth coffee finish things off, I liked this.

Bottle. Huge creamy dark lasting head with excellent lacing. Dark brown body. Heavy malt aroma of chocolate, coffee roasted and burnt malt. Light hop aroma, nice aroma of smoke, tar and liquorice. Full body oily slick texture and a malt-bitter finish. The flavor is moderate/heavy sweet and light/moderate bitter.
