3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From vin-og-gaver.dk. Richly aromatic, bordering on medicinal. Thick and chewy, quite vineous. A truly strange flavoured beer, which, I think, is a great example of the style. Jet black, bittersweet and complex, with hints of sherry and whisky becoming apparent. Warming, very interesting and quite unlike anything I’ve had before!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
0,5 l. bottle from the supermarket. Black colour with a light brown head - almost "smooth". Aroma is heavy malty, hard roasted ,almost burned, and weak notes of chocolate and licorice. Taste is medium sweet, with bitterness in the finish, where some alcohol kicks in. Medium to full body, a nice porter, however not as superb as the Limfjordsporter. Very good price - taste ratio.

500 ml bottle as Thisted 6 Porter. Rated @ 27.5.2011.
Pours a black colour with a small foamy head. Aroma of roasted malts and sweet fruits. Flavour of roasted malts, mild coffee, sweet fruits and hay. Medium bodied with a slick mouthfeel. Finishes coffee-like and raisiny. Clearly the best from the Thisted 1-6 series.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Endnu en bitter øl fra Thisted Bryghus, men denne gang er det mere retfærdiggjort end med deres Ale. Jeg vil dog hellere ha den danske standardporter fra Carlsberg.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 50 cl. Black pour with a light brown head of medium length. A complex beer with many impressions without some really comes into karts. Aroma and flavor has notes of toasted malt and some fruit politely. Alcohol and sweetness dominate the aftertaste.
