3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TBone (9999) - Pori, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2008
(Draught@Plan B as "Grauballe Triple").
Clear amber color, small beige head. Fruity (apricot-mango), yeasty nose. Dry, papery malty, fresh hoppy and a bit alcoholic. Drym leathery aftertaste. Much closer to Belgian trippel than Danish pilsner :)
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sayravai (4655) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 22, 2008
(Draught, "Grauballe Tripel"@Plan B) Clear amber with a small head. Grainy-malty aroma with yeasty fruitiness. Flavor is unfortunately somewhat gluey-solventy with low bitterness and no traces of the fruitiness of the aroma. Medium body, low-medium carbonation. Aroma was ok, but flavor is too solventy. Earlier Rating: 9/12/2008 Total Score: 3.1 (Draught "Grauballe Tripel"@Plan B) Clear amber with a small head. Grainy-malty aroma with yeasty fruitiness. Flavor is unfortunately somewhat gluey-solventy with low bitterness and no traces of the fruitiness of the aroma. Medium body, low-medium carbonation. Aroma was ok, but flavor is too solventy.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorisPPattyn (7308) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - SEP 20, 2008
UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught, drank as "Grauballe Tripel" Huge, off-white head over orange-amber beer; well carbonated. Very fruity, strawberry, citrus, rosehips, and warm malts. Caramel, Saison-like farmyard odours and spices; not sweet, dry with some hops. Quite dry MF, long dry-malty aftertaste, with spiciness abundant (nutmeg, orangepeel). There’s some commercial Saisons that taste pretty similar. I thought "Tripel" already weird, but Pilsener, for Pete’s sake????
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 kappldav123 (3760) - Markkleeberg, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2008
Thanks to yespr for the bottle! The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Very much foam. Not too hoppy, a little bit spicy, like wheat. Finish a little bit stronger. An unusual pilsner, but interesting!
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JensenTaster (1719) - DENMARK - MAY 5, 2008
(on bottle) For a danish "pilsner", this actually hold a hoppy carater, both in the grassy nose and the semi-dry finish. There´s a nice carbonationlevel and and pretty golden color. I can understand it wun the competion for best pilsner at ØF back in ´06. A lot of people could learn from this.

Nice pilsener - solid maltiness and a balanced hop bitterness

Clear deep amber with medium off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with caramel notes. Sweet flavor with caramel and fruity notes. Ends light bitter.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Pinball (9671) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - APR 9, 2008
UPDATED: APR 13, 2009 bottle 33cl. Nice try at a pilsener, but nothing special. No harm done, no big surprise. Label claims this to be a contest winner. hummmm. no comments there - i would call it differnt than the other mainstream pilseners, but not much better. Taste is a little fuller than a hof, and there is some hint of a sour note. otherwise, it is (to me) same old same old.
rerate:dark orange, large thick offwhite head. aro: earth, hops, faint bitterhops. flavor:caramelly hoppy, bitter.
